History
Foreldrar: Vagn Eiríksson b. í Miðhúsum í Blönduhlíð og k.h. Þrúður Jónsdóttir. Faðir hennar lést þegar hún var aðeins fimm ára gömul, móðir hennar bjó áfram í Miðhúsum með börnin í tvö ár en var eftir það í húsmennsku. Kvæntist Kristjáni R. Gíslasyni frá Grundarkoti í Blönduhlíð, þau bjuggu á Minni-Ökrum frá 1914-1927 er þau fóru í húsmennsku að Bjarnastöðum í Blönduhlíð. Voru svo í húsmennsku á Bakka í Vallhólmi og á Hjaltastöðum. Fluttu til Sauðárkróks árið 1930. Eftir að þau hættu búskap á Minni-Ökrum var Aðalbjörg ráðskona í vegavinnu hjá Rögnvaldi Jónssyni frá Kotum. Árið 1945 fluttu þau til Reykjavíkur, þau eignuðust sex börn.
