Ekkja Jónasar Jónassonar, þau voru kennd við Tjörn í Borgarsveit. Anna Elín varð ekkja árið 1900 eftir að maður hennar Jónas Jónasson ferjumaður á Tjörn í Borgarsveit, veiktist skyndilega og lést. Anna Elín fluttist með fjögur börn sín til Vesturheims 1902. Þau bjuggu öll í Mountain N-Dak. Anna Elín giftist aftur Guðna Gestssyni, f. 2.5. 1862 á Langanesi, d. 18.6. 1923. Var hann ekkjumaður eftir fyrri konu og þrjú börn.
