Hún fluttist til Borðeyrar 1.1. 1941-1.6. 1942, síðan á Langlínuna í Reykjavík 8.10. 1942. Hún lét af störfum vegna veikinda 1.10. 1946. Guðný var gjaldkeri hjá Agli Vilhjálmssyni frá 1953-1982."
