Ungmennasamband Skagafjarðar var stofnað 17. apríl 1910. Stofnfélög voru Ungmennafélagið Æskan Staðarhreppi, Ungmennafélagið Framför Lýtingsstaðahreppi og Ungmennafélagið Fram Seyluhreppi. Fyrsta stjórn sambandsins var skipuð; Brynleifur Tobíasson formaður, Árni J Hafstað ritari og Jón Sigurðsson gjaldkeri.
