Biographical history
Faðir: Pétur Guðmundsson, f. 1853. Hjá foreldrum í Álftagerði í Mývatnssveit um 1882-1886 og á Árbakka í sömu sveit frá um 1899 fram yfir 1900 nema í vist í Víðikeri í Bárðardal 1899-1900. Bjó í Voladal á Tjörnesi um 1921-1922, flutti þá til Eyjafjarðar. Bóndi í Hólum í Öxnadal um 1929-1935 og 1936-1942. Klauf á Staðarbyggð 1935-1936., síðar á Hraunshöfða í Öxnadal um 1942-1947. Var á Krossastöðum á Þelamörk 1947-1955. Maki: Guðný Sigurðardóttir frá Merkigili, Saurbæjarhreppi í Eyjafirði.
