Biographical history

Sigmundur Baldvinsson, f. 04.01.1900, d. 13.01.1983. Foreldrar: Baldvin Jóhannsson, útvegsbóndi á Þönglabakka, f. 1857 og kona hans Anna Sigurlína Jónsdóttir, f. 1863. Sigmundur átti eina systur, Sigurbjörgu, sem fluttist með honum í Hofsós árið 1953. Maki: Efemía Jónsdóttir, f. 04.07.1904, d. 27.07.1976. Sigmundur var útgerðarmaður á Þönglabakka og síðar á Hofsósi. Er hann flutti frá Þönglabakka 1953 fór jörðin í eyði.
