History
Kristjana Lovísa Ísleifsdóttir f. 23.09.1877 á Hvammi í Laxárdal í Skagafirði. Foreldrar: Sr Ísleifur Einarsson prestur á Hvammi og síðar á Stað í Steingrímsfirði og kona hans Sesselja Jónsdóttir frá Miklabæ í Blönduhlíð. Ólst upp í foreldrahúsum á Hvammi og á Stað og fluttist síðan með þeim til Reykjavíkur. Faðir hennar lést fáum árum síðar og eftir það var Lovísa mikið hjá föðursystur sinni, Önnu Breiðfjörð. Fór ung til náms í Kvennaskólanum í Reykjavík. Var eftir það um tíma hjá frændfólki í Skagafirði. Maki: Jón Eyvindarson kaupmaður. Þau eignuðust einn son og ólu auk þess upp Guðrúnu Jónsdóttur. Bjuggu alla sína búskapartíð á Stýrimannastíg 9 í Reykjavík.
