Dóttir Árna Magnússonar b. á Syðra-Mallandi á Skaga og k.h. Baldvinu Ásgrímsdóttur. Kvæntist Daníel Davíðssyni ljósmyndara. Þau bjuggu á Breiðstöðum 1910-1919, á Dalsá (þá Heiðarsel) 1920-1922, á Hróarsstöðum á Skagaströnd 1922-1924, á Neðra-Nesi á Skaga 1924-1930 og síðan á Syðri-Ey á Skagaströnd til æviloka. Magnea og Daníel eignuðust sjö börn og ólu einnig upp systurson Magneu.
