María Njálsdóttir, f. á Hrafnseyri við Arnarfjörð 07.05.1917, d. 10.01.2003. Foreldrar: Njáll SIghvatsson og Guðný Benediktsdóttir.
María var myndarleg húsmóðir en vann einnig alltaf utan heimilis. Á sumrin saltaði hún síld á Siglufirði og Raufarhöfn. María vann lengi hjá Haraldi Böðvarssyni við fiskvinnslu og niðursuðu og síðar í sokkaverksmiðju. Einnig setti hún á stofn greiðasölu sem hún rak ásamt vinkonu sinni.
