History
Foreldrar: Gísli Konráðsson b. á Bessastöðum og k.h. Sigríður Sveinsdóttir frá Hóli. Mínerva missti móður sína þegar hún var sjö ára gömul og ólst upp eftir það með föður sínum. Árið 1937 kvæntist Mínerva Sæmundi Jónssyni. Þau bjuggu í Glaumbæ 1937-1938, á Bessastöðum í Sæmundarhlíð 1938-1986, síðast búsett á Sauðárkróki. Mínerva og Sæmundur eignuðust átta börn saman, fyrir hafði Mínerva eignast dóttur með Sigurjóni Kristinssyni.
