History
Ole Bang var fæddur í Árósum í Jótlandi og ólst þar upp ásamt foreldrum sínum. Hann lauk gagnfræðiprófi og nam síðan lyfjafræði og lauk fyrrihluta námsins. Hann kom fyrst til Íslands 1929 og vann í lyfjabúðum í Reykjavík og Hafnarfirði. Eftir ársdvöl á Íslandi fór hann aftur til Danmerkur og lauk kandidatsprófi í lyfjafræði 1932. Það sama ár fór hann aftur til Íslands og tók við Sauðárkróksapóteki og rak það til efsta dags. Ole kvæntist Minnu Elísu Bang og eignuðust þau fjórar dætur. Ole tók mikinn þátt í ýmsum félagsmálum á Sauðárkróki.
