Biographical history
Foreldrar hennar voru Guðrún Ólöf Guðmundsdóttir og Kristinn Jónasson. Foreldrar Sigurlínu bjuggu bæði í Tungu og á Knappstöðum í Stíflu. Sigurlína kvæntist Hauki Ástvaldssyni (1950-2011), þau hófu búskap á Deplum í Stíflu 1974, þau eignuðust þrjár dætur. Sigurlína er nú búsett á Sauðárkróki.
