History
Theodore fæddist í Seattle í USA 1926, hann átti íslenska móður og danskan föður. Hann missti móður sína á unga aldri. Var við nám í The University of Washington, Seattle árin 1949, 1950 og 1952 og er með eftirfarandi gráður þaðan, B.S., M.S. og Ph. D. (efnaverkfræðingur). Theodore tók miklu ástfóstri við Ísland og gaf Íslendingum vísindabókasafn, einnig færði hann Landsbókasafni Íslands veglega bókagjöf úr einkasafni sínu.
