Árni Thorsteinsson, f. 15.10.1870, d. 16.10.1962. Foreldrar: Soffía Hannesdóttir Johnsen og Árni Thorsteinsson, landfógeti.
Árni tók stúdentspróf árið 1890 og lagði stund á lögfræði um nokkurt skeið, en hætti því námi og lærði ljósmyndun í Kaupmannahöfn. Stundaði þá iðn um nokkurra ára skeið. Árni var einnig tónskáld.
Maki: Helga Einarsdóttir. Þau eignuðust fjögur börn.
