Björn Árnason, f. 06.01.1893 á Víðimýri, d. 21.10.1956. Foreldrar: Árni Jónsson og Ingibjörg Björnsdóttir. Bóndi á Krithóli 1914-1929, í Hamrasgerði á Fremribyggð 1929-1930 og aftur á Krithóli 1930-1931, í Krithólsgerði 1931-1956. Maki: Jóhanna Sæmundsdóttir, f. 07.09.1896 á Breiðargerði í Tungusveit. Hófu búskap í tvíbýli við foreldra hennar. Bjuggu þau hjón þar í 15 ár alltaf í tvíbýli, en árið 1929 fluttu þau að Hamarsgerði til eins árs búskapar og fluttust þá aftur að Krithóli og hóf Björn þá að byggja yfir þau Krithólsgerði, þar sem voru rústir gamals eyðibýlis án beitilands, sem taka þurfti á leigu á öðrum bæjum. Þarna settust þau hjón að og þar stóð heimili þeirra til æviloka.
