Einar Jóhannsson, f. á Þönglaskála við Hofsósi 24.11.1933, d. 08.08.1999. Foreldrar: Sigurlaug Einarsdóttir frá Nýjabæ undir Eyjafjöllum og Jóhann Eiríksson frá Berlín við Hofsós.
Maki: Erna Geirmundsdóttir. Þau eignuðust fjögur börn.
Lengst af stundaði Einar eigin útgerð og með öðrum. Árið 1985 gerðist hann stöðvarstjóri Pósts og síma á Hofsósi og tvö síðustu árin hjá Íslandspósti.
