Biographical history
Foreldrar: Jónína Guðrún Einarsdóttir og Ingólfur Daníelsson á Steinsstöðum. Fósturforeldrar Daníels voru Hannes Halldór Kristjánsson og Sigríður Benediktsdóttir í Hvammkoti.
Daníel var bóndi í Laugabóli í Lýtingsstaðahreppi í Skagafirði 1944-1945 og var áfram þar eftir að hann brá búi. Hann hóf búskap á Brenniborg á Neðribyggð í Lýtingsstaðahreppi árið 1956 og bjó þar fram til ársins 1963. Flutti aftur að Laugabóli er hann brá búi á Brenniborg. Síðar búsettur í Kópavogi. Ókvæntur.
