Fundur (stofnfundur) í Félagsheimilinu Miðgarði í Varmahlíð, 3. desember 1968. Þrjú félög hugðust stofna með sér leikfélag. Þetta voru félögin Ungmennafélagið Fram í Seyluhreppi, Kvenfélag Seyluhrepps og Karlakórinn Heimir.
