Biographical history
Árni Þorgrímsson, f. 13.10.1882, d. 14.02.1924. Foreldrar: Þorgrímur Ásgrímsson (1847-1900), bóndi í Hofstaðaseli í Viðvíkurhreppi og kona hans María Gísladóttir (1852-1929). Árni ólst upp í Hofstaðaseli. Eftir ða faðir hans lést árið 1900 brá móðir hans búi. Hann var skráður vinnumaður í Hofstaðaseli árið 1910 og skráðru í Ásgeirsbrekkur árið 1920.
