History
Sigurbjörg fæddist á Sæunnarstöðum í Hallárdal, í Austur - Húnavatnssýslu. Foreldrar hennar voru Sigurbjörg Andrésdóttir og Benóný Ólafsson. Árið 1935 flutti hún til Reykjavíkur, en þar vann hún lengst af við aðhlynningu gamals og lasburða fólks sem bjó heima. Síðustu árin var hún á elliheimilinu í Hveragerði og Grund þar sem hún lést.
