History
Snorri Bessason, f. 18.09.1862 á Knappstöðum í Fljótum, d. 19.08.1949 í Reykjavík. Snorri ólst upp að mestu hjá föður sínum og stjúpu í Kýrholti í Viðvíkursveit. Hann hóf búskap að Stóragerði í Óslandshlíð 1890-1893, að Hringveri 1893-1899, í Garðakoti 1899-1916 og í Enni 1916-18, er hann brá búi. Fluttist skömmu síðar til R.víkur, var lengi stefnuvottur þar og stundaði fleiri störf. Maki: Anna Björnsdóttir, f. 13.11.1867. Þau eignuðust fimm börn sem upp komust.
