History
Þann 9. mars 1938 var almennur hreppsfundur haldinn að Skálá í Fellshreppoi samkvæmt löglegri fundarboðun, þar sem rætt yrði um stofnun Fóðurbirgðafélags Fellshrepps.
Fundarstjóri var Jón Guðnason, Heiði og skrifari Pétur Jóhannsson. Eftir uppkast og umræður var það samþykkt með öllum atkvæðum án mótatkvæða.
Félagið er stofnað samkvæmt heimildar í lögum búfjárrækt og tilgangur þess er að koma í veg fyrir fóðurskort á svæðinu og að koma á samvinnu um kaup eða framleiðslu kjarnafóðurs.
