Eiríkur Valdimarsson (1923-1985) Vallanesi sundkappinn synti á 9:29.0 sem er lengst til hægri. Maron Pétursson (1919-2000) sundkappi sem er lengst til vinstri synti á 9:34.0. Guðjón Ingimundarson (1915-2004)afhendir bikarinn. Sundmenn - f.v. Maron Pétursson - Gísli Felixson - og Eiríkur Valdimarsson. Guðjón Ingimundarson veitir viðurkenningu.
