History
Sigurbjörg Ögmundsdóttir fæddist á Sauðárkróki 23. október 1907. Foreldrar hennar voru hjónin Kristín Björg Pálsdóttir og Ögmundur Magnússon söðlasmiður. Í ársbyrjum 1927 giftist Sigurbjörg Svavari Sigpétri Guðmundssyni og hófu þau sambúð á Sauðárkróki. Sigurbjörg vann stundum utan heimilis, t.d. í síld, við fiskvinnslu og ræstingar. Sigurbjörg og maður hennar voru meðlimir í Hvítasunnusöfnuðinum á Sauðárkróki. Þau fluttu til Reykjavíkur árið 1974. Svavar lést 1980 og þremur árum síðar flutti Sigurbjörg aftur til Sauðárkróks og átti þar heima síðan.
