History
Sigurlaug Jóhannsdóttir, f. 03.06.1918 í Brekkukoti (nú Laufskálum) í Hjaltadal. Foreldrar: Jóhann Guðmundsson bóndi í Brekkukoti, f. 1876 og kona hans Birgitta Guðmundsdóttir, f. 1881. Sigurlaug lærði kjólasaum í Reykjavík. Maki: Aðalsteinn Sveinbjörn Óskarsson, f. 1916. Þau bjuggu á Kóngsstöðum í Skíðadal 1939-1941 og Ytri-Másstöðum 1941-1950 en fluttu þá til Dalvíkur sökum heilsubrests Sigurlaugar. Þau eignuðust þrjár dætur. Sigurlaug fékkst við ljóðagerð og var hefti með ljóðum hennar prentað fyrir fjölskyldu og vini í tilefni af 90. ártíð hennar 2008.
