Skúli Brynjólfur Steinþórsson, f. 09.08.1934 á Sléttu í Fljótum. Foreldrar: Steinþór Helgason og Guðríður Brynjólfsdóttir. Stúdent frá Menntaskólanum á Akureyri 1954. Stundaði flugnám hjá Svifflugfélagi Akureyrar 1949-1954 og í Flugskóla Viktors Aðalsteinssonar á Akureyri og Flugskólanum Þyt hf. í Reykjavík. Ýmis trúnaðarstörf fyrir FÍA og störf við flug og flugumsjón. Maki: Ólöf Sigurðardóttir. Þau eiga 3 börn.
