Bóndi í Hvammi 1901-1906, átti sæti í hreppsnefnd Skefilsstaðahrepps og var oddviti hennar 1902-1906. Kvæntist Bergljótu Tómasdóttur frá Brekku í Aðaldal, þau eignuðust einn son.
