History
Foreldrar: Sveinn Guðmundsson b. í Bjarnastaðahlíð og k.h. Þorbjörg Ólafsdóttir. Vorið 1909 hóf hann búskap á hluta af Bjarnastaðahlíð í Lýtingsstaðahreppi og var þar í tvö ár. Á Reykjum bjó hann 1911-1914, en flutti þá vestur að Þverá í Hallárdal, Hvs. Þar missti hann fyrri konu sína og fluttist aftur til Skagafjarðar. Bóndi á Giljum 1921-1922, þá kvæntur seinni konu sinni, í Ölduhrygg 1922-1925 og á Írafelli 1925-1939. Slitu þau hjón þá samvistir. Dvaldist hann á ýmsum stöðum þar í sveit eftir það en einnig eitthvað hjá sonum sínum í Rvík. Síðast búsettur á Sauðárkróki.
Maki 1: Guðríður Guðnadóttir frá Villinganesi, eitt af börnum þeirra komst á legg. Guðríður lést árið 1916.
Maki 2: Kristbjörg Jónsdóttir frá Höfðahólum, þau eignuðust tvo syni. Þau skildu.
