Tómas Pálsson, f. á Egilsá 07.10.1869, d. 18.07.1938 á Bústöðum.
Foreldrar: Páll Andrésson b. á Bústöðum og k.h. Anna Jónsdóttir. Búfræðingur frá Hólum varð hann 1892. Tómas var bóndi í Litluhlíð 1901-1902, en hafði þó jafnframt húsfólk á Bústöðum og átti þar heima til æviloka. Áður hafði hann verið fyrirvinna hjá móður sinni um nokkur ár. Tómas sat í hreppsnefnd um hálfan fjórða áratug, hreppsn.oddv. í 18 ár og jafnlengi sýslunefndarmaður. Formaður Búnaðarfélags Lýtingsstaðahrepps var hann og sat oft aðalfundi Ræktunarfél. Norðurlands sem fulltrúi þaðan. Hann var umboðsmaður Brunabótafél. Íslands í mörg ár og fulltrúi þess við virðingu bæjarhúsa. Í Fasteignamatsnefnd ríkisins var hann árið 1930. Í safnaðarstjórn átti hann lengi sæti og var kvaddur til flestra samningagerða, sem fram fóru innan sóknarinnar. Tómas kvæntist árið 1900 Þóreyju Sigurlaugu Sveinsdóttur frá Bjarnastaðahlíð, þau eignuðust sjö börn.
