Biographical history
Morgunblaðið er íslenskt dagblað sem kemur út alla daga vikunnar á Íslandi, nema á sunnudögum. Það kom fyrst út 2. nóvember 1913 og hefur verið gefið út af Árvakri síðan 1924. Stofnendur Morgunblaðsins voru þeir Vilhjálmur Finsen og Ólafur Björnsson, yngri bróðir Sveins Björnssonar forseta.[1] Árið 1997 hóf svo Morgunblaðið útgáfu fréttavefs á netinu fyrst fjölmiðla á Íslandi.
