Biographical history
Stefán Vagnsson var fæddur í Miðhúsum í Akrahreppi, Skagafirði þann 26. maí 1889. Hann var bóndi, skáld og kennari á Flugumýri, Sólheimum og Hjaltastöðum í Akrahreppi. Hann var síðast búsettur á Sauðárkróki og starfaði þar sem skrifstofumaður. Kona hans var Helga Jónsdóttir (1895-1988). Hann lést á Sauðárkróki 1. nóvember 1963.
