Biographical history
Baldur fæddist árið 1918. Sonur hjónanna Bjarna Sigurðssonar og Bjargar Björnsdóttur bænda í Vigur í Ísafjarðardjúpi. Baldur starfaði mikið að félagsmálum og var oddviti og sýslunefndarmaður. Hann var afar félagslyndur, brosmildur og geðgóður. Eiginkona hans var Sigríður Salvarsdóttir og eignuðust þau fimm börn. Baldur brá búi 1985 og tóku synir hans við búinu.
