Biographical history
Foreldrar: Rósa Björnsdóttir og Hjálmar S. Pétursson á Breið í Tungusveit. Kvæntist Guðmundi Sveinbjörnssyni árið 1937 og það sama ár fluttu þau að Sölvanesi í Neðribyggð þar sem þau bjuggu til ársins 1963. Sólborg stundaði ljósmóðurstörf í Lýtingsstaða- og Akrahreppi samhliða bústörfum. Eftir að Guðmundur og Sólborg brugðu búi fluttu þau að Laugabóli í Lýtingsstaðahreppi og þaðan fluttu þau til Sauðárskróks, þau eignuðust sjö börn.
