History
Lilja Hannesdóttir, f. á Skefilsstöðum á Skaga 25.08.1920, d. 17.08.2002. Foreldrar: Hannes Benediktsson og Sigríður Björnsdóttir. Lilja ólst upp í Hvammkoti til 17 ára aldurs, en þá flutti fjölskyldan að Hvammi í Laxárdal. Lilja gekk í Kvennaskólann á Blönduósi. Hún vann íymis störf, m.a. á hótelum og við veitingasölu, bæði á Sauðárkróki og í Varmahlíð.
Maki: Pálmi Jóhannsson frá Búrfelli í Svarfaðardal. Þau giftu sig árið 1948. Eftir það bjó Lilja á Dalvík og starfaði við fiskvinnslu og einnig við félagsheimilið Víkurröst. Þau eignuðust tvíbura.
