Hesteyri, höfnin á Eyrinni í byggingu. Steypuklumpar bíða í röðum eftir því að vera sökkt við hafnargarðinn til að verja hann fyrir haföldunni. Nýja höfnin var gríðarmikið mannvirki og boðaði byltingu í atvinnuháttum á Sauðárkróki. Myndin tekin á árunum 1938-1939.
